Integrated Resource Planning in Connecticut for Zero Carbon Pathways with Aurora

Levitan and Associates’ began using Energy Exemplar’s Aurora forecasting software a decade ago and since then, it has collaborated on many different projects with agencies in the northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. One of Levitan’s recent Aurora modeling projects was a 2020 collaboration with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). The firm wanted to understand how creating clean resources affects rate payers as part of Connecticut’s goal to be 100% decarbonized by 2040.
